Auto Send Receive

Outlook XP sp3 - Recently stopped Auto Sending and Receive - If I hit the
send/receive button I will receive messages.

All the settings are ok - nothings has been changed. I ran detect and repair
and was not successful.

There is a symbol of a disconnected drive in the lower right area of the
status bar. I don't believe was there before. If I look at my computer map
drives nothing is disconnected?

Any suggestions

That symbol means you are working "Off-Line". Go to File-Work Offline
and uncheck it.

OMG - No the Roots are not blond :)

Thank you very much - that took care of the problem - You don't know how
many hours I spent trying to figure this one out.

It would have been MUCH EASIER on us that had this problem is MS would simply
tell us what that OFFLINE symbol actually means when we put our cursor on it.
The computer is smart enought to know - so WHY NOT TELL US !!!!!????!!!!

Thanks for this tip !!! It would have saved me 4 hours of continuous
trouble-shooting - had I found it yesterday!!! David
