Hello,

I'm using Access 2000 and I have a main form with a large
subform. When tabbing through the fields on the main
from, the screen automatically scrolls down, as I like,
but when I tab into the subform,
the sreen does not automatically scroll vertically as I
tab to fields off the screen. Is there a way to fix this
so the user does not have
to move over to the scroll bar?

I know that many might say to make the subform so it fits
on one page, or use tab controls, but that is really not
a preferable option for
this form.

Thanks a million!

Tim

If I understand you correctly, you want to proceed vertically thru the
records in the subform, without reaching for the mouse and the vertical
scroll bar. Use the down arrow key.

Thanks for the reply-- it still does not work, neither
the tab nor the arrow key shifts the screen down so that
the active field is visible. Essentially I just tab off
th e screen, and the screen does not shift down as it
does when I'm on the main form.

Are you using pages on your subform. Thats the only thing I can think of
that might be a problem. Also check your tab order...

Nope, no pages and tab order is OK. I'm pretty baffled.
It looks like I'm just going to have to tell the users to
scroll down when they reach the item in the subform where
it tabs off screen. Thanks, Tim
