This is going to be a rather long question... So I hope
someone can help me with this.
I am setting up a database that will pull information from
3 different networks and marry them into one. Due to the
fact that on each network the info I am working with
(ODBC) is named the same I can not import all 3 directly
into 1 database. I have setup 3 databases, 1 on each
network and have queries generated to pull the info I need
into tables. I plan on linking my main database to these
tables for their information. However, I am looking for a
way to have these databases queries automatically run
without having to manually open each database. I tried
setting up a command window that would simply open the
database, then the macro in that databse would run the
query and close the database. My main database would now
be ready to work with this updated data. The command idea,
however did not work. It's possible I was attempting it
from the wrong angle. If anyone has any ideas or
suggestions on what I can do... I greatly appreciate it.
Have a great day!
