The system frequently auto reboots without warning. Even
after the entire hard disk drive has been replaced, the
problem persists. Anyone can help pls?

I have the same problem. I have put in a new hard drive
because the old one will not boot at all. I use the old
drive as a slave so I can at least access my files. A
fresh factory restore was installed on the new drive.
Within 2 days, again it was rebooting itself. Within 4
days the new drive cannot boot up. Everything is in the
process of be reinstalled, again, by COMPUSA. They claim
that there is no problem. When this problem started it
also included no video on startup, sporadically.
Eventually, the motherboard was replaced. This cured the
video situation.

I'm curious as to what system and processor you have. My
system is a Compaq 8000Z with an AMD Athlon 1900
processor. I will let you know if I have any better luck
when I get my computer back later this week.

Mine is a Compaq 2.5 GHz computer.
Tried just about everything - virus scan and fix, service
pack download, etc. Could it be a WinXP problem?
The vendor claimed there's no problem too, everything will
be fine after the service pack installation, but obviously
not.

Have you disabled the Auto-Restart feature under System
Recovery options? This is enabled by default.

You can disable it at START>CONTROL PANEL>SYSTEM>ADVANCED.

If you do have a genuine problem, you'll at least then
have the Blue Screen of Death mem dump to refer to, which
should provide more information about the cause of the
error. Although I have found myself, that since disabling
this feature, I have no problems with reboots and have
never been presented with a BSoD or a minidump.

The Blue Screen of Death is nothing more than a quick
flash and therefore cannot note anything. Disabling the
auto startup mode sounds worth a try. However, it was
suggested to me by Symantec that I possibly have a virus
on my slave drive and it is affecting the primary drive.

You could well have a virus. But I suspect that an additional problem

What are the error codes logged in the system event log, for the latest
crash. They will be labelled, "Save Dump" and "System Error" and will be
flagged by a white cross on a red background

To view the system eventlog

start/run
eventvwr.msc

click on system in left pane, system event log entries appear in right pane.
Double click on the relevant entry and use the copy button below the arrow
keys to copy the error to the system clip board, then use right click/paste
to place it in a post.
