Is there a way to automatically reply with a default message to all
emails in an inbox? If possible I would like it to be done on the
client side so the user can click a shortcut on the Outlook toolbar.

or turn the autosend on/off or ?
One comment - automatic replies to all messages is not always a good idea.
For one thing you tell any spammers who send you mail that they've found
a legit address and you're likely to get a LOT more spam after that. Secondly
there is the risk of creating a mail loop that could fill the mailbox and
drain server resources. Let's say you autoreply to a message, the other
person also has an autoreply set up. Your autoreplier replies to their
autoreplier which replies to yours which replies to theirs...
If you have an Exchange Server you can use Out of Office Assistant which
resolves that mail loop issue because it will only reply to each sender
once; but that's not a client-side solution.
