Hi lee :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

he Auto-Refresh feature makes the browser refresh its contents at specified
intervals. To enable Auto-Refresh and set the refresh interval, click on the
down arrow immediately to the right of the Refresh button and select Refresh
Every... from the dropdown menu.

From:

Hope this helps

Hi Jan,

How do you get Auto-Refresh? I clicked the link and there is nothing
in Downloads, or Order Now that mention it. I have a couple of places
that I go to and if they are idle more than 5 minutes, I have to log
back on. Annoying.

Huh? I just copy pasted the link form here to the Address bar, and it
brings up the site with the instructions and a picture of how to do it.
There is nothing to download, or order. The instructions I listed here were
on the site. Strange.....try this site
http://www.winferno.com/help/SecureIE/refresh_web_pages.aspx
As the other, it shows the same instuctions I posted, and the picture of how
to set the time interval for the auto-refresh. If you still can't get see
it post back and let me know. BTW...I'm in XP SP2.

There's also:

Tools>Options->Security>Check the "Allow "META REFRESH"
Other wise the META tag is used by the site to refresh the page.

Cooolllld!! And there is *snow* out here!! Not like Santee CA! For a So.
Cal. transplant, it's taking a bit of getting used to. I'm still not
allowed on the streets in the snow without my snow shoes. <g>

I'm XP/SP2 also. Meta Refresh is enabled. Am I supposed to already
have a Drop-down arrow by my Refresh icon in IE? I don't.

Me either! Not even in my W2K program. <g> Well.....it appears that the
site is a program that will do that....and I overlooked that fact.

Thanks for bringing it to my my attention, I really appreciate it. :-)

My apologies to the OP for the mis-information. But, I'd say Hanri's
information is good. <g>
