When I'm typing addressees in an Outlook message, it will recommend one or
more names after the first few letters. For example, if I type in "and" it
will recommend "anderson, sven" and "andrews, della" which is great.

The problem, one person I used to email frequently has left and is no longer
in the global address list on exchange. However, when I start typing in the
last name (which is similar to another employee) that person's name pops up
in the list.

Where are those entries stored, and how can I edit it to delete that
entry... I have searched high and low.

Thanks!

I am assuming you are using Outlook 2002, in order to remove one address
from the list, open a new message and begin typing in the address box, when
the list appears select the address to be removed. Once you have it
highlighted hit the delete key and presto. If you want to get rid of all of
them you can delete the .nk2 file which should be in C:\Documents and
Settings\<User>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook, assuming you are using
WinXP.

I hope that helps.
