I dont know if this is the right place to ask this question, but if anyone
could help me with this, would be really great.

How can I auto populate data from excel form into access database.
For eg: I have a form in excel on my shared drive that multiple users will
use to input data, Once they Input data I want to design a submit or a Save
button in excel form that would automatically populate the form data into
access database.

Please Help.

Thanks in Advance

Why wouldn't you do this directly in Access? It is the proper place, and you
won't have to worry about 1 user locking out the others.

Arvin, Thanks a lot for your input.

The issue with using access is that, there are a lot of people withing this
company who would be using this form and most of them does not have access
installed on their machines. The people who need access already have it, but
not all.

Thats why I opted for excel form.

You can directly link to an Excel file and use it just like an Access table,
but you are likely to get the same locking errors that the Excel users do.
