Can a form created in access auto-populate a table in the access database? We
want to use an access form as the online response form then have that data
auto-populate an access table. Is this possible? Using Access 2003.
Developing form now. Choice for form creation between Access or Adobe.

Hi AdminProf

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "auto-populate", but I think the
answer is "yes".

An Access form which is bound to a recordsource is simply a "window" to the
data. If you enter a new record in the form, then a new record will be
created in the underlying recordset (the table). Is this what you mean by
"auto-populate"?

Forms are based on tables and any information in a form is saved to the
underlying table(s) when you move from the current record by closing the
form or moving to a new record.
