"Auto-Play" functions for my digital camer in the USB 2.0 port and the Iomega Zip drive (all working fine until a few days ago) have stopped working. i.e. I no
longer get that window that offers to copy pictures to a folder for you.
At the suggestion of another user in this newsgroup I donwloaded and ran Microsoft's Autoplay Fix programme (Autofix.exe) and on the Iomega Drive it found no problem. For the camera, it allegedly found and fixed something and after that I rebooted, but it still doesn't work. Help gratefully appreciated.

Ted, have you gone to the Microsoft support page and FAQ to see if there are
any other things that can be looked at? Try here

There are several other sources that are related to Autoplay. Good luck.

I've been searching for the answer myself and through reading just about
EVERY post I found that when RealPlayer was removed everything worked fine.
So I removed RealPlayer and what do you know, my USB camera (Fuji FinePix)
worked. When I reinstalled RealPlayer it was broken again. I emailed Real
Audio's Tech support and they say this is a known issue and will be repaired
in the "next" release,

Nice find BSALQ. Other programs can screw things up can't they?
