Hey Guys,
I've searched the net high and low and cant find a soulation to this
problem.... at least without spending hundres or dollars anyway.
Basically i have a shared printer directly connected to my machine using
USB. Four other computers print to this compture via the network - through my
machine.
I'm having a problem with people on these other machines printing without
premission and so would like to auth printing before letting it print.
At the moment in XP the only way of doing this is to "Pause Printer".
But this i must then unpause the pause the printer... then resume the
document... the pause the printer again - Everytime i want to let something
print.
Bottom line is this - Is there ANY way i can set XP to 'Auto Pause' all
documents as they arrive in the print Que. This way each time i want to allow
a document to print all i have to do is click the document and select "Resume
Printing".
So auto pausing anyone?
You'd be helping me out big time.
Cheers, Guys
