I want to make an auto letter reference in excel. My file ref looks like below:
MYCOMPAMY/SERIAL NO.-CONSTANT NO./CUSTOMER-SERIAL NO.
My excel sheet is as below:
A <> B <> C
Date <> Customer <> File Ref Number
01Mar <> Microsoft <> ABC/01-10/Microsoft-01
02Mar <> Samsung <> ABC/02-10/Samsung-01
03Mar <> Microsoft <> ABC/03-10/Microsoft-02
03Mar <> Samsung <> ABC/04-10/Samsung-02
and so on........
I want whenever i enter a new date and customer name the Ref number automatically be generated.
Could any one please help me, all comments are welcome and if any one can send the solution directly to my email at (e-mail address removed) will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
