Hello,
I posted this also to Windows setup...I'm a bit new to the news group, so if
cross-posting is a "no-no", please let me know.
I have W2K Pro machine that is a member of an Active Directory Domain. I
would like to have a domain user account logon at boot automatically. This
is actually a cash register, which must be rebooted from time to time, but
the operator should not need to enter a password and logon. In fact, it is
more secure if the operator has no glimpse of the desktop. Once the logon is
entered, the point of sale software opens, and no desktop is seen. The
domain user account is a restricted user account locally.
An answer PDQ would really be appreciated.
Thanks,
Larry
