The auto hide feature in my notification area is no longer behaving the way
it had. I went to Properties and have Hide inactive icons checked and
previously, an arrow would appear at the left hand side and hide the icons
that were not active. This is not happening now. I am using Windows XP
Home edition. I just installed Norton Firewall and also Works 4.5 and I do
not know if this would have changed anything, but I can't seem to get the
auto hide feature to work. Any suggestions?

Download, un-zip, and then run the tool at...

(Repair/Customize Quick Launch, Taskbar and Notification Area)

Navigate to [ Notification Area ], and try the options there.

If that does not help, then visit MS-MVP Kelly's website and read
