auto generated message reply

hi i'm wondering how you do set up an auto generated reply message on both
window mail and outlook express.
eg.
hi Mark is on vacationand i'll be back on office on Friday 13th August,2009

Kindly assist

Neither of those programs offer such a specific facility.

It can be done by using message rules, but your machines would need to be on
24/7

My advice, forget it.

Or check with your ISP to see if they offer such a service on your account
at the server side.

Remember such would respond to ALL mail, including SPAM, thus advertising
your address as live.
