Hi,

I have two questions. First of all every time I insert a new text box the
words come out in subscript. I have to do "Ctrl +" every single time to fix
it and it's a hassle. It's something within my file because I've been
working on two different versions of ppt; at work (2002 SP-2) and at home
(2000) and it happens ALL THE TIME!! Is there a way to fix this?

The second question - is there a way that I can shut off the autoformatting
of new inserted objects and have my choice stick? I've been having to
uncheck this option each and every time I open ppt (happening at work on ppt
2002)?

Thanks a lot!
Nate

Create a textbox and format the text the way you want it.

Then go to Format/Font and tick the box for "default for new objects."

If that doesn't do the trick for you, then right-click the textbox and choose "set autoshape defaults," but the Format/Font *should* work for this one.

As for turning off autoformatting on 2002, go to Tools/Autocorrect and turn off the autolayout options.

Great, thanks!!
