Auto Fill on form in Access

I currently use a form that updates a table. The Form
includes Three input fields:

1) Number
2) Event
3) Event Date

I would like to be able to enter information in the first
field (Number) and have it automatically fill in the
remaining two fields with data stored on another table
that corresponds to the number.

The second part would be if a new number is added it
possible to have it update to the second table.

For (1): use a combo box to let the user select the Number, and then have
the other values be fields (columns) in the combo box's Row Source query.
