auto download + install of critical patches ?

Hi,

Im looking for a way to automate the downloading and installation of
critical patches from windows update i.e take users out of the loop. Don't
want them to have the ability to influence the process.

Is this possible and if so how ?

NOTE: 2000 domain with 2000 + xp clients.
