Does anyone know how I can get IE6 (WinXP) to auto-direct to an address as
soon as the address is loaded into the address window, without having to hit
the "Go" button?
thx-

Where is the address coming from? Just click on it there?

BTW if you don't want to use the Go button you can always drag
the link down into the page or up to the title bar to make it open.

Sometimes I cut and paste a URL into the address window, and on other
computers, like at work, also using WinXP and IE 6 or 7, the browser window
directs to the URL without the need for clicking "Go", that's what I'm
trying to achieve on this system, the auto-direct straight to the URL as
soon as it is either pasted or typed into the address window, without the
need for clicking "Go"...

HOw do you paste the URL? I normally use Ctrl-V, and the activate the URL
by pressing Enter. I don't even have the Go button displayed because I
nevere use it.

I'm saying that the redirect is possible without the need for hitting enter,
just pasting the URL in the address window, and then have the browser
redirect, without hitting enter or clicking "go", that's what I'm trying to
get, it works that way on other systems using WinXP and IE 6 or 7, but I
can't figure out what setting it is and get it to do so on my home system...

I don't know of a setting which does that. THe only time I've seen my
system behave that way is when the copied URL included a trailing carriage
return.
