Auto Dialer

I'm working in Access 2003.

I've created a form that has a button on it and the button is an autodialer.
I have an analog phone connected to my internal modem.

I click the button and the window pops up to enter a phone number. I enter
it and the outbound calls occurs without error. The person picks up and I
can hear them put they can't hear me.

How do I have this up to work?
 
Not sure this is your problem but worth a try.

1. Got to Start -> Control Panel.
2. Double click Sounds and Audio devices.
3. Select Audio Tab.
4. Under Sound recording, click Volume button.
5. You can have one to multiple columns displayed in the ‘Recording Control’
dialog box.
6. If Phone column is displayed go to step 8; otherwise click menu item
Options then select Properties.
7. Check Phone box then click OK.
8. Check the Select box in Phone column and set volume high. (Might have to
re-adjust volume later using this method).
9. Close the Recording control dialog box.

Tell the modem to hang up via code once you pick up the phone. It
will disconnect but as you are now on the phone the call will still
continue.

If you have an analog phone plugged into the other port of the modem,
you can pick up the phone and talk through that. The computer just
acts like a dialer.
