I realise that this may be an unusual question, as it deals with Word 97, but that is what I have at the moment

How can I add words to the Auto Correct facility. I can add words to the Custom Dictionary easy enough, by simply cutting and pasting into the Custom.dic file. Is there a similar file for the Auto Correct facility that I can simply cut and paste the long lost of words I want it to auto correct for

Hi Padster

Select the text that you want to be inserted by your AutoCorrect. Choose
Tools > AutoCorrect. In the "Replace" box, type your 'shortcut'. The
"With" box should already be filled with your selected text. Click OK.

Hope this helps.
