Auto-Complete?

I just bought a computer.
And, I accidently clicked on Auto-Complete.
I am not sure if I got the option or naming right, but everytime I type in a
search box, or putting in personal information i.e address, numbers... a tab
comes under the slate, with the information already saved, which I can just
click on and it will copy itself into that slate.
This is very frustrating.
Can anyone please let me know how to remove that setting?

In Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, content tab, AutoComplete button,
clear forms.
