Auto Complete

Anyone; I just bought a new computer. I can not get the Auto Complete to
work.I have already been in the internet options and made sure the auto
complete was checked. When I type something I have types before, a drop down
menu used to pop up and give possible matches for the word, How do I get
this feature back? Any help would be appreciated.

It is possible to clear out the history which will clear out AutoComplete.
AutoComplete is an IE feature. This is an MS-Access database newsgroup.
You'll have better luck in an IE newsgroup.
