When I start to type something that I have obviously typed
before I get a little box that has the whole text that I
am trying to type. The only way I can get this "whole
text" to enter is to use my mouse. If I hit "enter" then
all that shows up is what I have typed so far.
There has to be an easier way - what is it?

For example: if I am trying to type "(e-mail address removed)" and
I start typing "k" then a box with "(e-mail address removed)" shows
up, but in order to the whole thing to show up in the area
in which I'm typing I have to use my mouse. Isn't there a
faster, easier way?

thanks, K

I don't know of one. You have to understand that it will
remember more than one text, therefore you must choose.
Let me know if somebody has a tweak.

And what precisely would you like to happen that would be easier? Before I
type an address I've used the mouse to either insert the cursor or highlight
the old address; so it's just a slight nudge of the mouse to select the one
I want.

In 'Search', the up/down keys will scroll through the options, them enter.
