I use XP Home Edition and have both of the problems in
the subject line - are they connected? I can see a KB
article for win98 - NT and etc, but no mention of XP Home
Edition.

I have all the check boxes enabled and still nothing for
user names and passwords..

Auto complete is simple to fix
Start,
Run,
Type Regedit,
Click Ok
(Window Opens)
(In left Window) Click HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software,
Microsoft,
Internet Explorer,
Main,
Use FormSuggest,
double click on this and enter yes in the box,
then click ok and close Regedit (no saving required) then
refresh browsers.

As I do not have Outlook express installed, i can only
offer this advice, try going into regedit when you get to
Microsoft in Software look for Outlook Express open it up
and look in all the files inside it look for any files
that say Save Password and if you do find anything like
that replace 0 with 1 or no with yes
