I have a XP SP 2 computer running the latest version of IE 6 and all SP and
hotfixes. Just the other day the user said their autocomplete on forms is
no longer working. I checked the settings under Tools....Internet
Options...Content....AutoComplete... and the use autocomplete is checked for
all of the settings. Is there anything else I should look at? The computer
is part of a W2K3 domain and we do not use group policy to control this
portion of IE.

Many thanks,

Derek D

Hi Derek :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Safely Delete the Temporary Internet Files

Have you tried turning AutoComplete off, restarting, turning it back on?

Next, you may have a damaged registry key.
Try this:
With no programs open,
Run REGEDIT and make your way to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Software
Microsoft Internet Explorer
IntelliForms
SPW
Create a System Restore point or export that key (Registry> Export- just in
case you wish to undo the change) then delete it- just the SPW key.
Restart the computer.

Hope this helps :-)
