Auto-close some running programs when "Switch User"?

Hi,
There are now 7 people making use of the "Switch User" facility on this
computer. Often resources get bogged down by the numerous programs left
running. Is it possible to automate the closing of specific, non-critical
programs as part of the "Switch User" process?
I'd be grateful for any helpful suggestions.

No - the very nature of Fast User Switching is to leave the other users'
apps running. If you system does begin to get bogged down, you may want to
consider having other users log off when done (you can force them to do this
by turning off Fast User Switching from Control Panel \ User Accounts).

Thanks for the reply. I understand your point. I wouldn't want fast user
switching turned off, as it's so useful.
Is it possible to run a batch file or similar during the switched user
login process that will close specific programs if they are running?
