Auto Backup MS Word doc in same folder

I just started getting the backups to the same folder as the original. I
don't recall selecting this feature and wonder if someone can suggest a
solution to this, or at least explain where to configure this option.

Hi - I suggest you post in a group for Word/Office, as this won't be an XP
issue. Make sure you mention your versions & SP levels of everything when
you post in there.
