It is my understanding that folders in Outlook 2002
are "stored" on my local (C:\) drive. Is there a way to
archive all of my folders and contacts at specified
intervals to my network drive? My ultimate goal is to be
able to work with the folders on my local drive, yet have
backup copies of all my folders and contacts in the event
of a hard drive failure.

You're actually looking to back up your data, not archive. Archiving is
generally used for moving older data to a different file so it's separate
from your current data.

There are lots of backup utilities listed on the following page:

Also, a good resource for backup/restoration information can be found here:

Make sure you verify any backups you make so that you're not unpleasantly
surprised if they don't work later when you really need them. Also, try not
to open .PST files from the network too often -- if the network share goes
down while you have the .PST file open, it may get corrupted.
