Auto Archive Settings

Using Windows XP and Office 2007

Probably a silly question, but I want to be sure that what I am thinking is
correct. When I am in the auto archive settings dialog box, it appears that
those settings also apply to the archive folder itself. So if I archive
something from my inbox that is older than 3 months and it gets sent to my
auto archive folder, what happens to that file in the archive folder once it
is older than 3 months?
 
Nothing. The Auto-Archiving only moves stuff from your main message store
(PST, mailbox, etc) to the archive file.
 
Thanks. But it does appear that I can right click a subfolder in the
archive list and change some settings there. Right??
