Is it possible somehow to via GP set the path for the archive.pst file ?
Would be useful not having it on the local clients in order of backing it
up.

You can create a GP to redirect the current directory
where your .pst files are to a directory in your server.
This will work if your users have their .pst file
somewhere like My Documents, or any of the Windows 2000
predifine folders (e.g. Application Data)

1. Create the new GPO.
2. Expand User Configuration, Expand Windows settings, and
then expand Folder Redirection.
3. Right-click the name of the folder that you want to
redirect, click Properties, and then provide the target
location and the path location.

I forgot to mention that we have a folder redirection GP in place, but it
isn't possible to use this GP on specific PCs in some circumstances, and
therefore a specific path for the archive file would be useful.
