autimatically change channels on digital cable box

I was wondering if there is a capture card that can change channels on the
digital cable box. I have seen many that say you must manually do that but
that seems to defeat much of the purpose of the card. any help would be
great.

Obviously not an optimal solution, but you could just set your Digital
Cable box to "record" the show, in addition to setting MMC to record it.
The Cable Box would have to turn itself on to "record" the show. That's at
least an option where I am.
