Anyone else get an ATI Board not detected error when trying to install
Authorscript? I'm not understanding that at all. The board is, you
know, IN THERE.

BTW, HDTV Wonder's a piece of shit.

The HDTV Wonder is great. ATI's software is a pasture full of meadow muffins
to say the least.

Can't say about your problem but if no one else responds with a better
suggestion, would suggest uninstalling all of the ATI software, use the
cleaner program, reinstall the newest CAT and MMC software following the
instructions on the web site. Read carefully and follow the instructions on
the website for the order to install and also instal all of the support
files like .NET.

By "cleaner program" I'm guessing you mean the ATI Uninstall software?
I was just confused because I've seen other software called "Cleaner"
before.

I'm not sure what my problem with HDTV Wonder is. I live in a small
town, and I should be able to pick up FOX, NBC and CBS (other stations
are awaiting permits). Which is cool, but I can only pick up NBC. I've
trying different antennas too. Sometimes even NBC goes out and I have
to adjust the antenna daily to find the new signal.

How far are you from the stations? If its a distance problem an antenna
preamplifier might help.

Thanks.

In a straight line, NBC is 3 1/2 miles away, FOX and ABC are owned by
the same company and are housed in the same building which is 6 miles
away, and CBS' station is less than 2 miles away.

What's the difference between an antenna preamplifier and an
"amplified antenna?" I've tried 2 other brands of antenna (one that
looks similar to ATI's) and neither really helped improve my
reception.

An amplified antenna already has a preamp. You are much to close to need
either. An attenuator might help. The signals your getting may actually be
too strong.
