Hi

I'm using the group policy to authorize only a fews applications
It works fine, but sometimes, it seems like the policy doesnt work. When the user start the computer, applications are working, but some hours later, no applications can be opened. I reboot the computer an then, all is normal

I can't find any solution

Thanks in advance for any advices...

What is the errors that occur on the clients? Some additional logging may

My problem is not about programs installation, it's about authorization to use installed one
I only authorize Word.exe, but sometimes during the day it forget the authorized list so it blocks every programs
I've got the standard message of the group policy "Impossible de lancer le programme du au restriction en rigeur" in french.

So you allow only Word.exe or Winword.exe?

Winword = All Microsoft Office Version
Wordpad = Built in 32 bit Windows Version
Notepad = Built in 16 bit Windows Version

Perhaps the users are logging off the domain and then logging on locally?
Have you tried to run any of the programs that are restricted yourself while
logged on as a user that the restriction applies to?

This still might be a good place to start:

Winword.exe is allowed

The problem is that users didn't log off at all. During they're logged in, it seems the session looses the list of allowed programs but keeps the interdiction right.

I've desactivate the refresh op policies, so it would keep the configuration like on the logging... but the problem is still on

Get some Userenv logging, see if there is a SAFER ng and post to that.
