Authorised use of Microsoft Word logo

I'm uploading a Word document to our website and want to put the small 'W'
icon on the page to signify that people are downloading a Word document. Does
anyone know where I can get one which is authorised for use so I'm not
infringing Microsoft's copyright please?

At the risk of exposing myself to litigation <g>, I'll suggest that you grab
the one I used at http://home.earthlink.net/~fairhoperotary/documents.htm. I
have no idea where I got it, and I have never found any page at the
Microsoft site offering such a thing. I don't see how MS could reasonably
object to this use (compare the similar use of the Adobe logo for PDFs), but
when you start tangling with the MS Legal Department, all bets are off!

Thanks - this is very much appreciated.

Read this first before you do anything. (I would suggest a comment that
tells them it's a Word doc rather than the icon.)
