Hi,

This is probably simple but... I have 2 PCs on N/W running XP Pro on both.
If I access network neighborhood on either I get the icons for both PCs. If
on Machine A I double-click the icon for Machine B to open it and check for
shares, etc. I get the normal display of shared folders, printers, etc.
If I'm on Machine B and try to open the icon for Machine A I get a prompt
for a username and password. What's am I missing on A that is causing this
prompt? There are no firewalls running in this example that could be
causing this. ideas appreciated.

Thanks! Bob

Run the Network Setup Wizard on Machine A to fully enable file
sharing.

If you've defined a password for the Guest account on Machine A, enter
that password a the prompt.

Otherwise, create a user account on Machine A with the same user name
and password that you use to log onto Machine B.
