The thing is that; I tried "nslookup" command and I got "Can't find server name for address: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx: Non-existent domain" message. I also tried "finger" command and finger the domain and or the DNS Server and I got a message giving me the domain name, but "connection refused" message. If I ping my computer, everything is fine, also if I ping my computer to the domain, it is also fine. I think that it might be a misconfiguration in the Server and related to "Authentication" problem, but I don't know how to fix the problem. Once again, I will appreciate any response and if you can send me the response to this e-mail address, I will appreciate it; since my e-mail at work; does not work.

Thanks

We don't have much to go one, but if you get a connection refused message
then generally it is a physical issue connect to the server on ports tcp/udp
53.

If you do the following, what do you get?

nslookup
server ipofserver
set type=mx
domain.com

what do you get? We searching for an mx record, so just make sure one
exists. You can also change the server command to any server you want to
test against. :) Are you behind a firewall etc? Is your DNS local or
published to the net?
