Authentication of user accounts between domain controllers

We have 3 domain controllers - 2 in the corporate site, 1
in the remote site. All users located in the remote site
always authenticate against the remote site DC. However,
a few users in the corporate site are authenticating
against the remote DC instead of the corporate DC. How
can this be changed? This slows down their login time...

This is a common problem ( well, I do not know
if 'common' is the right word! ). Please take a look at

Also, I hope that you have configured your Sites properly
by using the Active Directory Sites and Services MMC to
create the second "remote" Site, create the appropriate
Subnets and then associate each Subnet with the
appropriate Site. This is very important. Please look
