Hello All,
I have been having an issue at one of my branch locations with the
workstations (XP Pro Sp2) authenticating to a DC (Win2k Servers) at
another location. The link is a 56k frame relay so this is not
desireable. I have verified that the PC's have the correct IP, Subnet,
and DNS server which point to the correct local DC, and that AD Sites
and Services is correct as well.
When I run nltest I get:
DC: \\wrongdc.mydomain.lan
Address: \\wrongdc.ip.address
Dom Guid: <string of characters>
Dom Name: mydomain.lan
Forest Name: mydomain.lan
Dc Site Name: WrongDCSite
Our Site Name: CorrectDCSite
Flags: GC DS LDAP KDC TIMESERV WRITABLE DNS_DC DNS_DOMAIN DNS_FOREST
Obviously there is an issue, but I'm out of ideas. Thanks for any help!
