e are a W2K Native Domain with 3 DC's (all of them are also GC's).. 2 reside
in our LAN and the 3rd in our WAN..

Several logon's are authenticating across the WAN instead of locally.. How
do I *force* local machines to use our local DC's..?

Any help or related articles would be appreciated . : )

You need to correctly configure sites. You do this by creating a site, and
then a subnet, and associating that subnet with a site. You then need to
move the DCs that are in the remote sites into the remote site in
DSSITE.MSC.

As an aside, you should also configure site links, and set a higher cost on
the WAN link.

I did say as an aside :-). Who knows what the future holds...

I also misread that -I thought there were three sites!!! <g>

Cheers!
