Authentic or Not?

I've been receiving 4 or 5 emails with attachments
everyday for the past two weeks, supposedly from
Microsoft. They appear to be authentic and claim to have
security "patches" attached. I always go to windows
update for any new updates so I have ignored [and
deleted] these so far. My questions are: Does MS mail out
these warnings or are they viruses? How can I stop them?

yep, there kake, and the attached file is a virus, just
delete them

The e-mails are not from MS . They do not send unsolicited e-mails. Jym
