Auditing Object success

I want to audit the success events of a folder in windows2000 server which is
part of a AD. I could not see any success wherein I am seeing failure
information.
I enabled auditing through Local Security and relative folder/s for both
success and failure. But effective is showing only failure in the policy.

I requested the AD support to check for any policy applied wherein I am
seeing effective failure. They informed me as there is no such policy.

How can i resolve this and identify where the policy is inheriting.
Any command line tool or other way of identifying.
 
Have you run GPMC's resultant policy in model mode (as the
Windows 2000 will not support actual reporting mode)?
