Hello,

I need to audit for ALL file access in Windows 2000
professional. I haven't been able to locate any
information that would allow me to do this short of going
in and selecting to audit each and every object as it is
created. This isn't feasible since I need to audit
user-created objects.

Thanks,

A.C.

Realistically, you do not want to do that or your computer will slow to a
crawl and you will have tens of thousands of entries in the security log
assuming you make it much larger that default. I suggest you start by
audining just a few critical folder/files. You first have to enable auditng
of object access. See links below for more info. --- Steve
