Audio wont play

we captured the video but the audio wont work no matter what we do. we tried
turning it up on the camera, on the computer, the input, I dont know why it

How did you "capture" the video? What is the camera type, the connection
(USB, IEEE1394 Firewire or some other) and what version of Movie maker (just
the full operating system, including service pack, information will
suffice.)

I'm not the original poster, but I'm having the same issue. The camera is a
Samsung DV, I'm USB for the connection, and it's WMM 2 on XP. I have
successfully uploaded video w/audio before, which is what makes this
especially frustrating. Thanks for any help!

MM does not work well with usb.
Use the app that came with your cam, capture as dv.avi and import this into
MM.
Otherwise use firewire, much better.

I wound up borrowing a friend's firewire cord and that worked fine. Sucks
about the USB, though.
