I am trying to create a file to place on DVD. When I run the file that was
created using Windows Media Player, I get the video but none of the audio
that was in the Audio/Music track in Winsows Movie Maker.

I would apprciate any help I can get. I am new to this so it is probably
something I did wrong.

Thanks

Can you play other video files in WMPlayer and hear the audio?

Did you hear it in MovieMaker?

Have you checked the audio levels ( Tools > Audio levels ) in Movie Maker to
see if your project has it cranked all the way to favor only one track?

Did you accidentally mute the audio track? (right click the audio track to
check)

To answer your questions.

I can hear audios from other files in WMPlayer.

I can hear the audio for the file I am trying to create in MovieMaker. When
go to Save Movie File and create a wmv file, I get the audio in WMPlayer.
When I do the same thing with the same project and select DV-AVI, the avi
file does not have any audio whne played with WMPlayer.

I did check the audio levels as you sugested as well as made certain that
the audio track was accidently muted. Everything was OK.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks

Gene

To further elaborate:

Teh wmv file that had audio was created using the default "Best Quality for
playback on my computer." When I selected "Otehr Settings" and then selected
"High Quality Video (NTSC)" the wmv file creted dd not have any audio when
played with WMPlayer.
