audio/video won't run in Broadcast presentation on My Web Sites on

My MSN website is DouglassWatersGroup. Any ideas about what I'm doing wrong?

Dear Ute,

No, I believe this IS the correct place for me to post my question. The
question I asked DOES pertain specifically to PowerPoint.

According to PowerPoint 2003 Help, audio/video objects linked to or embedded
in a PowerPoint slide show won't play when viewed in a web browser. This is
not true, however, if the slide show is assembled in PowerPoint Producer, or
if it is in the form of a PowerPoint Broadcast.

The audio/video works fine when my slide show is saved on my own computer as
a multifile webpage (.htm, .html) - whether or not this is done via
PowerPoint Producer - and viewed in a web browser. [Of course, it also works
fine when my slide show is saved as a PowerPoint Presentation (.ppt) and
viewed in PowerPoint or PowerPoint Viewer.]

The audio/video does NOT work when my slide show is saved, even on my own
computer, as a PowerPoint Broadcast (also an .htm file) and viewed in a web
browser. So the problem has nothing to do with my website (which,
incidentally, as an MSN website, is a shared workspace, as it is required to
be).

Therefore, I repeat: does anyone have any ideas about why the audio/video
doesn't work in my PowerPoint Broadcast?

P.S. Incidentally, my slide show also can't run audio/video when it is saved
as a single file webpage (.mht, .mhtml) and viewed in a web browser, or when
it is saved as a PowerPoint Show (.pps) and viewed in PowerPoint. Any ideas
about that would also be appreciated.

Does your web site have the needed Windows Media Server installed and are
the media files on it?

Yes, the media files are on my website, and no, Windows Media Services is not
installed on my website because it is not required for PowerPoint Broadcasts
to ten or fewer simultaneous viewers. Besides, the audio/video doesn't run in
my Broadcast even on my own computer, let alone on my website. (Admittedly,
Windows Media Services is not installed on my own computer either, but as
I've said, Windows Media Services is not required for PowerPoint Broadcasts
to ten or fewer simultaneous viewers.) Does any of this suggest anything
about what the problem might be? Thanks for any help you can provide.
