I use the ComproDTV2 tuner card and I have a
HD aerial on the roof.

Can anyone help me in increasing the sound
level during the recording-to-HDD process. I
have tried everything.

Please help.

Try diffrent recording software,so long as youre drivers are installed
for the card, you can download windows encoder and record thru that, get
the codec installation packge also.Plus use its utilities, the WMCAP utility
wont record, but lets you view the program + sound...

Video has low audio level.

Maybe so, but lets check that the recording volume slider is at its maxium,
just in case.

Start / All programs / Accessories / Entertainment / Volume Control.

Now on Master Volume / Options / Properties / Recording (ok) / Select
Line-in and push slider right up to the top (maxium)

Video tutorial of how to do it is here;

How do I select the correct audio input for analogue audio recording?

If this is not the problem then check your recording software recording
level settings are at maxium.

All this assumes that the video that you played back does indeed have a low
level of recorded audio, make sure the player volume was right up to where
you normally have acceptable playback audio level.

Many thanks, especially for the video
tutorial.
I will check this all out and test it with
the next TV movie.
Kind regards for all replies.
