audio to video sync

I have a 3min 40 second audio clip that I want use. I have more pics than
audio..How do I make the pics sync with the audio?

audio they'd need to be 2.2 seconds long, etc You can also change the audio
to make it shorter if you wish.

Thanks Graham for your answer. So I have 100 pics, do I havew to go into the properties of each pic and make it 2.2 sec? Seems that you should be able to tell the program to match pics timeing to audio timeing automaticaly.

MM is a video editor not really a slideshow maker, which is in effect what
you are trying to achieve.
Before placing any pictures on the timeline, change the time they display to
the amount you want, so when you place them on the timeline they will all be
the same size.
