Audio system on A7N8X-DX?

I'm assembling a system and have installed the Asus software. I don't
see any kind of audio workbench software for the soundstorm, something
to deal with speaker setup and such. I got the Asus updated 51901
utility disc but that doesn't have anything that I recognize as an
audio center. Am I missing something here?

Not sure what you mean by workbench, but you should install the nVidia
nForce 3.13 drivers, you get a control panel for the configuration of audio
stuff.

Oh, so it's under Control Panel then. I looked for something in the
tray or under programs. That's where my SB put it. Control Panel does
make sense and keeps stuff cleaner.

I'm dl the driver now just in case it's newer. Might as well do all
updates before I get this thing up and stable and then screw it up.

Well it sits in the tray too.
