audio snycronisation

To anybody who can hel
When playing back an imported file I have no problems. However, when try to play a file from the timline the audio seeds up, whilst the video stays at normal speed.How can I get the audio and the video to stay sycronise

If it's an MPEG2 source file, it could be a codec issue.... see the
Importing Source Files > Video > MPEG2 page of www.papajohn.org

It it's not, check the Problem Solving > Audio Issues page.... which is a
work in progress so it doesn't yet have a prescriptive checklist
